🚧 CFGPA Work Party – September 2 & 3, 2025 🚧 Dates & Times: Tuesday, September 2 at 9:00 AM Wednesday, September 3 at 9:00 AM Location: 48685 Chilliwack Lake Rd, Chilliwack, BC V4Z 1A6 What’s Happening We’re rallying members for a major berm maintenance project! The berms will be cut by machine, but we need many hands to help clear and remove the debris. This is one of the biggest cleanup efforts of the year, and Shannon is leading the charge to make it happen. Bring gloves and rakes if you have them, and be ready to roll up your sleeves. Why This Matters This isn’t just about maintenance—it’s about keeping our facilities safe, functional, and looking their best for all members. When we come together, the whole club benefits. And to say thanks for your hard work, everyone who helps out will be entered into a draw for a FREE YEAR MEMBERSHIP! 🎉 How to Join We need as many volunteers as possible to pull this off. Project Mapleseed is coming back to Chilliwack Fish & Game, and this is your chance to challenge yourself and take your shooting fundamentals to the next level. Whether you're a seasoned shooter or new to the sport, this one-day immersive experience will sharpen your marksmanship like never before. 🔍 What is Project Mapleseed? Project Mapleseed is a national, apolitical, volunteer-run marksmanship program that teaches traditional rifle skills based on precision, discipline, and historical context. You’ll learn: ✅ Proper use of a rifle sling ✅ Natural Point of Aim (NPOA) ✅ How to shoot accurately with consistency ✅ How to qualify for the coveted Rifleman’s Patch — the mark of true shooting excellence (score 210 out of 250 on the 40-round qualification target) 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 All Skill Levels Welcome From youth and beginners to seasoned hunters, this course is structured, safe, and incredibly rewarding.
