It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of longtime member Don Clarke.

Don passed away on December 31 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s and the effects of age. He would have turned 91 on January 6.

For many years Don was a familiar and respected presence during the era when black powder was king. While some of us may not know every chapter of his story, his impact and steady presence were clearly felt by those who shared the range and the community with him. Members like Don are part of the foundation that clubs like ours are built on. Quiet dedication. Consistency. A shared respect for the sport and for one another.

Our thoughts are with Don’s family friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him over the years. He will be remembered as part of the long and proud history of this club and of the broader firearms community.

Rest easy Don. You will be missed.
